Description
The 296 Coupé GTB was unveiled on 24 June 2021 as the first ‘true six-cylinder Ferrari’. Earlier six-cylinder models were offered until 1974 as the Dino, without the Ferrari logo or crest. The sports car went on sale in 2022. The 296 in the model name stands for the displacement and number of cylinders, while GTB stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. The GTS convertible (for Gran Turismo Spider) followed on 19 April 2022. It has a two-piece hardtop that can be opened in 14 seconds at speeds of up to 45 km/h. The powertrain consists of a 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine (663 hp) coupled with a plug-in electric motor (167 hp), delivering a system output of 830 hp. This impressive power is transmitted to the rear axle via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with automatic mode and paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Depending on the selected driving mode, a purely electric range of up to 25 km is possible. This beautiful Ferrari 296 GTB in the rare colour ‘Blu Pozzi’ and with a ‘Charcoal’ interior was delivered new to Switzerland and sold by Niki Hasler AG in Basel on 11 May 2025, with its first registration on 26 November of the same year. The base price for the fast coupé with an 830 hp bi-turbo hybrid drive and 8-speed dual-clutch transmission was CHF 311’152. But the first owner didn‘t stop there and ordered options such as 4-point seat belts, front radar, airbrushed ‘Scuderia’ logos on the front fenders, all available carbon packages, the extended Fiorano package, carbon rims, carbon racing seats and more, worth an additional CHF 177’250. After delivery, the 296 was parked in the owner‘s collection and never driven again. From its first owner with only 70 km on the clock, complete with owner‘s manual, all keys and continuous factory warranty until 11 May 2028, this fantastic sports car is in new condition and will be passed on to a new lover of the Maranello brand with its last MOT performed in November 2025.
