Description
Noble Auctions are pleased to present this 1957 ELVA MKII 100/27 for auction on www.noble-auctions.com.
This car has an important and extensive period racing history by Elva racing driver Chuck Dietrich, among others.
In perfect condition, this genuine Elva MKII was confirmed by Elva Founder Frank Nichols to be one of the first MKII’s built.
The Elva MKII was a period competitor for cars like the Lola MK1 and Lotus 11, but this didn’t stop this particular MKII from beating much more powerful machinery like the Ferrari 750 Monza, Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage, Aston Martin DB3S, Ferrari 500TR and many others, both in period and in more recent years.
This auction will start closing on March 30th at 7:00 PM.
For a complete in-depth description and videos of the lot, please take a look at our website www.noble-auctions.com
It is also possible to view the car in person at our showroom (Halfstraat 5, Aartselaar 2630, Belgium) on Wednesday, March 23rd from 10 AM to 5 PM, or by appointment. We also offer personal video calls by appointment. If you would like to make an appointment, please contact us at [email protected]
