Description
The Citroën 2CV (French: «deux chevaux») is an «economic» front-wheel drive car featured in the «Paris Mondial de l’Automobile» from 1948. The 2CV was produced by Citroën until 1990.
In 1988, the Levallois plant in France ceased production of the 2CV, however, the Mangualde plant in Portugal continued assembling the 2CV until 1990. The 2CV outlived the Visa, a car that was expected to replace it and was still being produced. for four years after the launch of the Citroën AX.
Officially, the last 2CV, a «Charleston», reserved for the manager of the Mangualde plant, left the Portuguese production line on July 27, 1990, although five «Spécial» were produced later.
In total, 3,867,932 Citroën 2CVs were produced.
This is a 2CV6 Club «Charleston», manufactured in Poertugal, with only 50,600 kilometers and is in excellent condition.
