The Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato race car was built on an original series 1 Aston Martin DB4, with a shortened chassis to GT specification and a perfect lightweight aluminum body by Shapcraft of Northampton.
The engine was up-rated to 4.2 race specification to 385 bhp by Aston Engineering, who also fitted a short shift close ratio gearbox and matching rear axle.
The complete suspension and braking system was also up-rate to race specification.
