History:
This car was first registered in 1956.
The current owner bought the vehicle in 1979. This sumptuous 1900 CSS was then stored for nearly 30 years in a garage before undergoing restoration in 2010. The restoration was carried out in Portugal, then in Italy for the bodywork. The mechanics were completely rebuilt by the owner, retaining its original appearance, with a few improvements that are not visible for reliability reasons.

Since its return to the road, this Alfa has had the opportunity to participate in many well-known events such as Le Mans Classic, Rétromobile, Alfa Rosso Festival, and several rallies, where it has won several awards.

Condition:
The model we are offering for sale is in remarkable condition.
The aluminum bodywork has been perfectly restored. The “Blue Cobalt” paintwork looks beautiful. The Borrani wire wheels show a few stone chips, but are still in very good condition, having covered only 5,000 km.
The entire interior, upholstered in gray wool and blue leather, is in good condition. All the dashboard controls are functional.

? The 4-cylinder engine runs smoothly. The gearbox was rebuilt in 2019 and made more reliable by a specialist. The last service was carried out in August 2024. The underbody is sound and free of corrosion.
