This Rolex Submariner may or may not grant you A Licence to Kill

This stunning Submariner is the last Rolex worn by James Bond, in the 1989 film A Licence to Kill. And on 30 October 2018, it will be sold by the British auction house Fellows…

Timothy Dalton’s stunt double wore this very Rolex Submariner during the British actor’s final appearance as 007 in A Licence to Kill. It’s a reference 5513 with its original matching Oyster bracelet and for those with a little imagination, its knocks and scratches may well have been sustained in the line of duty. Fellows will offer the watch at its forthcoming Watch Sale on 30 October, where it will have an attached pre-sale estimate of £60,000–90,000 and be accompanied by photos of the film’s cast and crew, its original Rolex papers, and a certificate of authenticity from Eon Productions.
