Snapshot, 1955: Christmas holidays, Fiat royalty style

What do a prince and princess do on their Christmas holidays? Ski, of course. And for a Spanish prince and Italian princess, there’s no better place to hit the slopes than the northern Italian town of Cortina d’Ampezzo — and no better car for the niece of Gianni Agnelli than a Fiat 600 Multipla…

Less than two months after giving birth to their first son, Christoph “Kiko” Victorio Egon Humberto, Italian princess and actress Ira von Fürstenberg and her prince husband Alfonso di Hohenlohe-Langenburg are taking some time for themselves this Christmas holiday to go on a ski holiday. And even though Gianni Agnelli has yet to take over Fiat, it seems only fitting that Ira, the niece of the ‘L’Avvocato’, is using a Fiat 600 Multipla to carry her skis and poles — there’s even room for a car seat in the back.
