More than the sum of its parts...
It all started in 1987, with an inquisitive letter sent by Kidston, addressed to a Mr Bowman, the then-owner of his father’s old Bugatti Type 57C. We shan’t give too much away but the subsequent tale is heart-warming, and telling of the importance and meaning that classic cars hold for different people. “One of the things I love most about cars is how they bring people together,” says Kidston. “It’s the human connection that old cars often have – in this case my father, and all those whom I’ve subsequently met.” We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.
