Dorotheum will auction these exciting collector cars in Vienna

While the catalogue for Dorotheum’s forthcoming Spring Sale in Vösendorf near Vienna, taking place on 15 June, is studded with interesting cars from France, Germany, and the UK, it’s the fiery Italian contingent that’s got our blood flowing that little bit quicker. These are our favourites…

On 15 June, Dorotheum will return to Vösendorf just outside Vienna for its Classic Car & Motorcycle Spring Sale 2019, the four-wheeled contingent of which comprises some 60 collector cars of various ages and genres. And though we certainly wouldn’t sniff our noses at the gold 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo 3.0 (est. 130,000–190,000 euros) or the 1972 BMW 3.0 CSL (140,000–200,000 euros), the cars in the catalogue that truly stole our heart were born in Italy.

Take the ultra-cool 1985 Ferrari 412 super saloon painted in a shade of brown that can only be described as ‘of the era’ (58,000–72,000 euros), the matching-numbers Verde Indy 1974 Maserati Bora 4900 (160,000–210,000 euros), and the boisterous little 70HP Autobianchi A112 Abarth from 1983 (9,000–14,000 euros), for example. You can find our 10 favourites from the sale listed below or, alternatively, browse the entire catalogue in the Classic Driver Market
