Look what one of our photographers created in his day-job

Regular Classic Driver readers will remember the computer-generated Jaguar D-type we recently featured. When our photographer Peter Aylward saw the images, he got in touch to show us these similar renderings he created several years back, of the legendary Porsche 550 Spyder…

‘Brought to life’

The details of the Porsche 550 Spyder are just as staggering as those on Ink’s renderings of the Le Mans-winning Jaguar D-type, but have been ‘brought to life’ by the inclusion of a sunny Californian backdrop rather than just a blank page. The images were created by London-based post-production studio Additive, for which Peter Aylward is a Director and Retoucher/CG artist. You can see more of his work at Additive’s website.
