Beschreibung
BMW 501 / V8 1st series
The BMW 501 is a passenger car of the upper class and is the first BMW passenger car that was manufactured in Munich. Its predecessors were still manufactured in Eisenach.
Due to its curved lines, it quickly received the nickname “Baroque Angel”.
Although the 501 with the V8 engine is actually called 502, there were very few models of the 501 in which the newly developed 2.6L V8 plays its concert in the front and is highly sought after among collectors today.
Enjoy the video of this rare 501 V8:
This offered BMW is such a rare 501 with said V8 engine. But, in addition, it is a 501 V8 with a complete history and a completely original interior.
It was passed on from the first owner to the uncle of the current seller.
In its life it was repainted once years ago and some welding was done in the process.
The interior is in very good and above all original condition.
Engine, transmission and brakes work flawlessly and also in the electrical system there are no defects.
Even the first cardboard letter is still present with the documents.
As well you find a new classic car report with a price over 35.000€ in the pictures below.
Although Konrad Adenauer chose a Mercedes, because in the 501 he had to take off his hat to get in, a 501 “Barockengel” is a completely underestimated luxury sedan of the upper class of that time… and still today. The driving comfort is unique.
Take your chance to glide comfortably over the roads with this authentic 501 / V8 sedan….
