The Renault 5 is not presented anymore. A true monument of French automotive history, it was one of the best-selling cars of the brand. Marketed since 1972, it was the first city car to be equipped with a rear hatch opening up to the bumper, an evolution that will be later taken up by all its competitors. The brand, wishing to be part of the Pop trend of the time, added to its color chart bright and fresh colors, ideal to seduce the youth of the time.
The model we present is an R5 L with the ""Andalusian orange"" body paint, in the 1977 color chart. It is in very nice original condition. The first owner registered it in August 1977 and kept it until 2019, when it was sold to its current owner. This Renault 5 is therefore a real opportunity to buy a typical 1970's car, almost new, in a body color that conveys good mood!"
