Description
A stunning Jaguar XJ-S V12 HE Convertible presented in one of the best colour combinations Artic Blue Metallic with Contrasting Dark Blue Hood. The interior is finished in Magnolia Leather with Tan Wool Carpets and Matching Tan Velvet Hood Lining
The HE engine launched in 1982 with its Fire Ball combustion chamber gave the glorious V12 engine improved power of 295HP as well as better torque. The GM automatic gearbox provides almost seamless changes allowing the V12 engine to show its impressive torque and flexibility.
This XJ-S body and underside is in pristine condition and mechanically the car is a revelation. There is no corrosion on the car and from what we have measured, the paintwork appears to be mostly original.
The car has just over 24,000 which is supported by a comprehensive file of MOT’s. A detailed and well-presented history file includes a summary of the 45 visits this big cat has made for its servicing and subtle improvements to ensure it is absolutely upto date and on the button.
Recent preventative works include a complete service of the fuel injection system components by Mr. Injector UK to include Aramid E10 compatible fuel injection hoses, replacement of the fuel injection loom, cruise control bellow lead and fitting genuine JLR ignition leads.
As for the underside, both radius arms have been removed and powder coated, and all bushes replaced. The brake hoses have been upgraded to braided stainless steel.
The suspension further benefits from a Harvey Bailey Front Brace. All 4 shock absorbers and rear springs being replaced in 2017 at around 19,000 Miles.
The car has its service and user books as well as it full tool kit, jack and brace.
The car has had a recent service at 23790 miles which included oil and filter change, new coolant together with a new Header tank.
This XJ-S is the best presented and maintained example we have so far had the pleasure to offer.
