1991 Porsche 964 Turbo 3.3

For those into blisteringly original, first paint and 100% stock interiors you are in for a real treat on this one! No corners cut here, this one still has all of its original, perfect paint as delivered new and a totally untouched interior as well. Pay very close attention as well at the SpeedLine, light-alloy, modular rims. They are all just perfect with etchings that look like they were engraved yesterday!

This particular Porsche Turbo was special ordered new by Mitsuwa, the official distributor for Porsche in Japan for a favored client in February of 1991. The ordered specified a non-Japanese compliant vehicle in black / black and with the sunroof deleted. Non-compliant simply meant that the car was left-hand-drive and did not have the normal Japanese modifications to the speedometer and lighting. The car was essentially a normal German market example but with instruments and labeling in English.

This is an extremely low specification example devoid of nearly all options and it is also an extremely rare, sunroof delete example, one of just a handful so completed.

The car was meticulously cared for by a succession of private owners prior to our purchase with massive service records documenting the car’s care. Most importantly, it has covered very little mileage since new and it has received very special care that completely preserved 100% of the original paint which remains as flawless today as it was when completed new. Total documented mileage from new is just 37K kilometers / 23K miles

After arrival, this Porsche was sent to Völlig Autwerks here in San Diego for complete and total services and safety checks. New tires were also fitted at the same time.

This is an all matching number, rust and accident free vehicle with pristine body panel fit and finish. The bottom side of the car is as equally clean as the top side.

It remains complete with all delivery items and has zero running time since the completion of full services and the fitting of the new tires on an absolutely spotless set of SpeedLine Porsche, light-alloy, modular rims.

The only modifications from the original delivery configuration is the Japanese Market radio has been replaced by a US Market fully refurbished, period Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB stereo cassette system. The original muffler has also been replaced by a stainless steel “sport” muffler with all other components remaining stock. At the front end of the car, the original fog lights were removed and a brake cooling duct kit installed.

After purchasing this Porsche and taking delivery it was immediately dispatch to Völlig AutWerks here in San Diego where it received a complete and total major service, safety check and numerous other services and maintenance totaling $8,029. The work at Völlig started with a complete inspection and assessment of the vehicle and their recommendations for service and maintenance. The work was authorized and completed over a three week period.

The paint was also independently metered and the results found the car to have 100% original Factory paint with no retouches anywhere.

A compression test was also performed providing the following perfect results:

The only noted cosmetic defect on the entire car is on the rear parcel shelf at the base of the rear window which is lifting and separating slightly. This was professionally assed and repaired as per per leaving nothing amiss on the car in anyway!
