Beschreibung
The 365 GTC/4 shares the chassis, wheelbase, suspension and engine with the 365 Daytona, however in the pininfarina designed 2+2 body. To accommodate the more practical nature of the car, the engine was slightly detuned from the Daytona to 340bhp, there was a slightly softer suspension set-up and an inclusion of power-steering.
However, with only 500 being produced an such a close relationship with the iconic Daytona, the 365 GTC/4 has remained an under-appreciated and under-valued car, making it an enticing investment opportunity.
The special example we are offering today is currently finished in Nero over Nero; one of the strongest combinations for the car. However the car was originally finished in an extremely interesting colour of Oro Kelso (Gold) over a Pelle Nera Cogolo the car still dons today.
The car was supplied new to Modern Classic Motors in Reno, Nevada but has subsequently spent the majority of its recent life back in Europe and sits in full European specification, French to be specific as highlighted by the stunning yellow lights.
Complete with recently Classiche Certification from the factory, this GTC/4 is showing just under 14,500 miles and sits in very good and original condition all round, with the interior showing fantastic patina and the mechanicals as one would expect for such a beautiful Ferrari of the 70s.
For many the GTC/4 is a much nicer car to own and drive than the more famous Daytona; and when this is combined by the limited production run and figures, they certainly present a fantastic argument as being the finest 70s Ferrari to own and also invest.
