We’ve just received a stunning RUF SCR from one of our valued clients.

“RUF” is a name familiar to any Porsche enthusiast.
Its history began in the late 1970s, when the company built its reputation by tuning the Porsche 911 Turbo of that era. In 1981, RUF completed its original 5-speed transmission for the 911 Turbo, which was only available with a 4-speed transmission as standard.
That same year, it received approval from the German government, marking the start of its journey as an independent automaker.
Around the same time, it developed the legendary prototype “NATO” In 1983, RUF unveiled its first production car, the “BTR” Since then, it has produced numerous legendary vehicles based on Porsche models, including the famously nicknamed “Yellow Bird” CTR.

At the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, RUF unveiled the CTR 2017, its first model featuring both chassis and engine developed entirely in-house, not based on a Porsche.
CTR stands for “Group C Turbo RUF” and true to its name, it is a turbocharged model.
The following year, at the Geneva International Motor Show again, the SCR was unveiled, essentially the naturally aspirated (NA) version of the CTR.
The SCR is limited to just 70 units worldwide. It is not simply a model derived from the CTR with the turbo removed. Along with modifications to the rear spoiler and suspension, it features a specially developed 4.0-liter flat-six engine derived from the Metzger engine.
Its peak output was an astonishing 375 kW (510 PS) at 8,270 rpm, with the tachometer's redline starting at 8,800 rpm (compared to 7,400 rpm for the CTR) – a true high-revving beast.
If you're a car enthusiast, just imagining its specs will tell you it's an incredibly thrilling engine.
After the SCR announcement, it's said that several people who had ordered the CTR switched to the SCR.

This SCR is a special one-off vehicle, designed by its owner, a RUF enthusiast, who drew inspiration from the 1973 911 Carrera RS and completed it after numerous discussions with RUF.
The Grand Prix White body features lines painted in RUF Green, the SCR's signature color.
The wheels are classic silver, and the brake calipers are painted RUF Green with the RUF logo in Grand Prix White.
The lines on the engine hood were completed after numerous discussions with RUF to ensure they looked natural from every angle.
The emblems normally found on the bonnet and engine hood are also reproduced in RUF Green paint.
Some SCR owners who admired the fine workmanship requested RUF to install the same line for them.

The interior is also composed with RUF green accents.
The base is black Alcantara with RUF green stitching, and the optional rear shelf SCR logo and lightweight door straps are also RUF green. The seats are optional classic lollipop seats with green-based Pepita pattern fabric. The seat backs are also painted RUF green.

This SCR, crafted with such meticulous attention to detail and completed years after its order was placed, is RUF's latest current model. Yet it also evokes the spirit of the 1980s that made the company famous, blending modernity with a neo-classic feel.

We will arrange to have this SCR safely transported anywhere in the world.
