The Renault 5 TL features the 5 HP 956 cc five-stage engine from the Renault 8 (""Cléon-Fonte engine"") designed by engineer René Vuaillat, and more decent equipment: door armrests, reclining front seats, rear parcel shelf and defrosting rear window. The model is equipped with front disc brakes with open rims. For 1974, the different chrome logos were replaced by the Vasarely diamond on the front and a new black plastic badge on the rear. From 1979 onwards, the wheel covers are removed and replaced by the rim, in order to limit costs.
The model presented here has benefited from a very nice paint restoration that gave it back all its original shine. The interior is very clean and the car runs well. This car represents a great opportunity to acquire a model whose value is constantly rising. Don't let it slip away!"
