EXTERIOR

Finished in a glossy coat of the launch colour GT Silver this Carrera GT looks sensational. The paint work remains near flawless and retains all of its original coat laid over the state of the art weaved carbon fibre body, all of which is still visible. The low sleek body combined with large side air inlets on both sides and front and back leaves any passers by in no doubt that this is an extreme supercar engineered by the best in the business.
The rear spoiler extends at speeds over 75 mph to generate stabilizing rear downforce, while the chassis using its carbon fibre monocoque and the engine as rigidity, provides race car manoeuvrability and performance. Bi-xenon headlights are fitted, as well as LED directional and brake lights. The design seems to get better with age and doesn’t seem to have dated one bit since its introduction over 17 years ago.

The paint condition is superb with only a couple of light stone chips to the front bumper; the car is completely accident free and the original paint as confirmed by its sole owner and Stuttgart. It presents in totally original factory built condition having been carefully used by it’s original owner and purchaser from new.

INTERIOR
The cabin is a carbon fibre monocoque and upholstered in beautiful Ascot brown leather which looks and smells fresh from the factory. Positioning yourself inside this V10 powerhouse reveals the exposed carbon fibre of the monocoque and inner doors, leading to the stunning aluminium pedals, switchgear and fascias which create a varied tech and premium feel to this stripped back supercar. Full carbon fibre bucket seats offer a superb balance of comfort and weight saving, with their contoured shape offering superb hold and cushioning.

The full and original optional luggage set is still present, further bagged and unused.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Opening the rear engine compartment reveals a visual treat; the V10 sat pride of place, cocooned in the carbon fibre monocoque chassis with pushrod actuated suspension and air intake scoops making up this engineering masterpiece. The engine bay is incredibly clean and the mid-mounted normally-aspirated all-alloy ten cylinder engine immaculate has been well serviced throughout its life; fitted with double overhead camshafts, variable valve timing, titanium connecting rods and a dry-sump oil system ensuring reliable and consistent oil supply and pressure.

Twinned with a traditional 6-speed manual gearbox with racing-type three-plate carbon clutch it is a potent and very mechanical combination and experience, ensuring jaw-dropping acceleration and a top track speed of over 200 mph. Clutch measurements have just been completed during its Annual service with the factory and read at 30mm; translating at over 75% remaining.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Yellow monoblock callipers can be clearly seen through the Carrera GT’s five-spoke forged light alloy wheels, 19 inch at the front and 20 inch at the rear, all wheels remain spotless as do the anodised wheel hub nuts, blue on the right, red on the left side distinguishing thread direction. The calipers are part of the awesome Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system that owed little to Porsche road cars at the time, and which continue to provide astonishing stopping power.

The car runs the updated Michelin Supersport N rated tyres all round all with ample tread.
HISTORY FILE

Supplied new by the factory in Leipzig in early 2004 this magnificent machine has been treasured by its sole and original purchaser ever since.
Regular servicing is annotated in the original service book showing 9 stamps, with the last carried out just recently in 2022 by Stuttgart where it had a thorough check over and annual service.

Both keys and additional service key are present alongside the owners pack and manuals. Documents on file detail the original order process, original invoice and images show the delight on collection from the factory on first delivery.

With such provenance it’s unsurprising that its complete luggage set, still bagged and unused along with the Carrera GT gift set given to buyers are still with the car.
Currently on German papers the car can be sold into Europe or registered into the UK.
