Beschreibung

The base vehicle is a 1972 911T. The engine is a 3.4L version of the 930 3.2L.
The builder is Marc Zurlinden, CEO of Zurlinden Gruppe, based in Florida, USA.
His encounter with Smyrna is quite unique. When he was younger, he would often visit the home of a famous Porsche collector, Mr. B, who lived nearby. He would admire the Porsches he had always dreamed of but was unable to purchase at the time, and would have lively taled about Porsches with the owner.

Twenty years later, Marc was finally able to purchase a Porsche, and an acquaintance recommended a 1972 911T to him. Although it wasn't in very good condition, he decided to buy it, thinking it would be fine since he would be restoring it.

On my way out, an acquaintance told me, "You made a good purchase! Actually, the owner of that Porsche is Mr. B ."
I was fascinated by that Porsche and had visited Mr. B and he always welcomed me warmly and talked to me about Porsches, and that was my fateful encounter with the 911T...

That 911T holds special memories for him, and he was particularly passionate about building it. He was particular about the original design, he sourced parts from the Germany to create the Smyrna over the course of three years. He was inspired by the 911ST, of which only 24 were made during the same era.

Apparently, Smyrna was a fan of the Smyrna Green color used in the 356 era, and named the car after it.

Based on the 930-type 3.2L engine, it's been bored out to 3.4L and equipped with twin spark plugs. The engine is electronically controlled, and the distinctive air funnels and throttle body make it clear that this is no ordinary car. The suspension has also been streamlined, with coilovers replacing the torsion bars. It's also equipped with six-way adjustable stabilizers front and rear, further enhancing performance to match the engine's power.

Looking at the interior, it gives off a slightly more refined impression than the exterior. Perhaps the Smyrna Green body and camel leather give it this impression. The special leather (Custom Vintage) has a different feel and texture.
The racing touch hasn't been forgotten, either. The steering wheel is a four spokes sports steering wheel from the legendary 1973 911 RSR, and the tachometer is engraved with 10,000 rpm. A bolt-on roll cage is installed in the rear, and the shift knob is made of balsa wood, which was once used in the prototype 917 racing car, and is designed to motivate the driver.
