Beschreibung
The Porsche 930 Turbo was born because of racing. Once the turbo technology was developed on racing models, manufacturers installed this new engine component on mass-produced models, which opened up new horizons in terms of performance. The 911 type 930 turbo made its appearance on the roads in 1975, with 500 units produced for the purpose of homologating its engine in competition. In spite of a commercial context not very favorable with the oil crisis that occurred 2 years earlier, the "turbo" is a commercial success and pushes Porsche to make evolve the model by developing a version of 3.3 l for a power of 300 HP.
Our example put on sale indicates a mileage of 158 760 kilometers with an entry into circulation on June 2, 1983. Imported in Germany in 2001 and not accidented, the car has benefited from an identification certificate issued by Porsche France at the same time. Technical control, Car Vertical report and Histovec favorable and available.
With 3 different owners since its importation, the history of maintenance is known from the end of 2000 around 120 000 kilometers, invoice file on request.
ENGINE AND GEARBOX
Its 3.3-liter flat 6, topped by a large intercooler hidden under a large spoiler, is equipped with a turbocharger that gives it its typical behavior : a power that takes a long time to be delivered before waiting for the 3000 rpm, to then offer a very brutal acceleration.
This power, which is still difficult to control, offers first class performances for the time : 250 km/h top speed and a kilometer launched in 24 seconds.
Our model starts normally, without any noise or smoke. No oil leakage is to be deplored. The exhaust system has been modified, from Phoenix, and produces a low, muffled sound.
The four-speed gearbox is easy to use and handles without a hitch. An oil change and filter replacement was performed in 2018 at 152,870 miles.

EXTERIOR
You don't need a trained eye to see that the Turbo is not a normal 911 : the rear spoiler "pie shovel" is replaced by a "tea tray" on this 3.3L version, the widened fenders and the specific bumpers give it the look of a car escaped from the track. Our vehicle has benefited from a complete paint job done by us, detailed file available on request. The original color "Grand Prix White" is in perfect condition, with a nice shine. The operation was done in the rules of the art : total disassembly of the body, replacement of the joints, sanding, rigorous marouflage ... A few points of rust at the level of the underbody were treated before the paint. On the rear fenders, two air inlets are present to cool the mechanics.
INTERIOR
The interior of the 930 Turbo is sporty without being as radical as a race car. A full black leather interior greets its occupants in acceptable comfort. The cloth power seats allow the driver to have an optimal driving position and are in working order, while the reversible air conditioning and ventilation are also in working order. The instrumentation keeps the same layout with a perfect state of conservation; highlight, a pressure gauge located in the central meter indicates the turbo charge during acceleration. The plastics are well preserved as well as the black carpets. In the front, the trunk is made of grey carpeting and a stabilizer bar has been installed.
CONSUMABLES
The rear Bilstein shocks are new. The Fuchs 5-spoke wheels are new and fit Federal Evoluzion ST1 front (225/45 ZR17) and rear (275/45 ZR17) tires with less than 50% wear. The front and rear performance brakes are in good condition and do not need to be changed. A model specific Porsche cover will be delivered with the vehicle.
