Designed to showcase the full extent of Porsche Motorsport’s technology and expertise in a road‑legal package, the GT3 RS received the full lightweight RS treatment, using advanced materials to eliminate unnecessary weight and deliver pure performance.

A new evolution of the engine derived from the Porsche 911 RSR racing program gave birth to the 4.0‑liter flat‑six, featuring 24 valves, high‑pressure DFI injection, a higher 13.3:1 compression ratio, titanium connecting rods, forged pistons, a motorsport‑grade crankshaft, individual throttle bodies, a titanium exhaust system and the latest VarioCam technology. All of this results in an astonishing 520 hp and 470 Nm of torque.

The increase in power, reduction in weight and meticulous aerodynamic refinement — highlighted by the GT3 RS’s imposing, enlarged rear wing — produced dramatic gains in performance. According to Porsche, the car accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, though many automotive analysts consider this figure conservative. With enough courage, 200 km/h arrives in just over 10 seconds, and top speed reaches 312 km/h.

Performance is sustained by the Porsche Supersport Brake System, PASM GT3 CUP adaptive suspension and PDCC + PTV stability and torque‑vectoring systems. Perhaps the most impressive demonstration of its capabilities is its Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time: 6 minutes and 56 seconds, making it one of the fastest naturally aspirated sports cars ever built.
