The prior owner is the proprietor of a car reconditioning company and put a huge amount of time, money and effort into backdating this ’87 Carrera to ’73 RS spec approximately 11-12 years ago. The car underwent a rotisserie restoration, with new metal and panels added where required before a full bare-shell respray. The car features original RS front fenders, upgraded suspension, Turbo brakes and sticky Toyo R888 rubber wapped around a set of Fuchs wheels. Inside the driver sits snuggly in Lightweight-style buckets and inputs through an alcantara-clad Momo wheel. A half cage has been fitted along with harnesses, and RS style doorcards with door pulls.

This is a truly fantastic recreation of a legendary car, and obviously being a backdate benefits from a number of mechanical advancements found on the later cars that make it a superb steer as well a beautiful looking RS recreation.
