OVERVIEW
Among the many sports cars developed over the past half century, the Porsche 911still prevails as one of the most desirable and versatile performance cars ever built. Offered in a range of configurations to suit varied driving preferences, the innovative engineering, superlative performance, and bespoke features of the 911 continue to attract new generations of enthusiasts to the Porsche brand. Inspired by the legacy of motorsports dominance, Porsche performance and durability continue to engage legions of dedicated drivers in their quest for the very best in sports car design and engineering.
In 2004, the 996 was replaced with the 997. Although it retained a similar profile to the 996, the most notable exterior change was a return to the original 911 single-style elliptical headlight design. This welcomed, modern interpretation of the classic 911 design was further echoed in the interior which offered strong visual elements further capturing the spirit of the original 911. The top-of-the-line offering, the Turbo model, featured the 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine with variable turbine geometry. The Turbo also featured all-wheel drive and Porsche Traction Management, which greatly improved handling particularly in wetter road conditions.
The jaw-dropping performance of the Turbo was consistent with previously legendary Porsche Turbo models, raising the bar yet again as an industry leader in 0-60 and quarter mile times. Competitively priced when new, highly optioned pre-owned examples under collector care have continued to be sought after, particularly examples delivered with the rare and highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission.
This 911 Turbo was ordered new with more than 20 desirable factory options and features. According to a copy of the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity this example was completed May 14, 2007, finished in Carrara White/B4 and trimmed in Black Full Leather/AT. Options include:

Under current ownership with records dating back to 2010, this 23k mile example retains the original factory paint, interior, and all mechanical features as delivered. Service records include typical items such as oil and filter changes, fluid changes, batteries, and tires. Many of these service entries are stamped in the owner’s service booklet which also supports the accumulated original miles. Offered by the fourth and consigning owner, three prior owners have preserved this car including the first owner who is reported to have been Jim Barrier of Barrier Motors, Bellevue, WA. Under the first ownership approximately 3,800 miles accrued before it was sold to the second owner. Both the third and fourth owners are well known to Northwest European as avid Porsche enthusiasts and collectors. A superbly preserved 6-speed manual 997 Turbo, one would be hard-pressed to find a competing well-optioned, show winning, low mile example.
Today this Turbo presents in exceptional condition in stunning factory Carrara white. The exterior finish has benefited from care and detailing showing only mild evidence of age evident in the clear paint protection film and light scuff marks on the lower front air dam. The front and rear bumper caps are beautifully finished with factory paint matching the body panels and excellent fit to the metal bodywork. The glass is in near perfect condition including an unmarked windshield, clear original side glass, and crystal-clear rear glass. The lighting and lenses are in excellent condition as is the white Turbo emblem on the engine lid. The satin-finish alloy wheels are exceptionally nice, with black Porsche crest centers and contrasting red brake calipers on all four ventilated disc brakes.
The interior has been very well-maintained with full supple black leather and a host of comfort and special paint/trim features that make this a very uniquely optioned car. The seating surfaces show no significant wear to the premium materials, while the thicker leather steering wheel is a handsome added feature to the cockpit. The Sport Chrono package, painted seatbacks, door threshold sills, and white contrast stitching are just a few of the many features that make this interior unique truly bespoke. The dashboard and assorted instrumentation feature Carrara white instrument dial faces displaying key operational features and systems status. Carpet, door panels, headliner, and power sunroof are all in excellent condition contributing to the like-new feel for the interior, once again, confirming the low miles and superlative care lavished on this award-winning 911 Turbo since new.
The engine compartment has been thoughtfully maintained and properly serviced per recommendations. Porsche factory components are present and, much like the rest of the car, are in excellent cosmetic condition. The front storage area is also representative of factory new condition. The underside of the car, suspension and driveline casings have been carefully maintained, retaining much of the original cosmoline coating used to protect the metal finishes when shipped from the factory. Here too, suspension components are only mildly toned from use, as is the warmly colored exhaust, gently hued from typical engine heat cycles. A complete set of owner’s manuals accompany this Porsche Turbo, two keys, two concours award plaques, and selected service records dating back to 2010.
This stunning original Porsche 911 Turbo offers exceptional condition, superb performance, and unique options. Rarely found combining preservation grade finishes, low miles, and consummate care, this Porsche Turbo is poised to deliver on all the promises of yesterday’s Porsche 911 legacy coupled with the dreams of tomorrow, driving for miles and miles towards a rewarding future.
