Horacio Pagani founded Pagani Composite Research in 1988 after working with Lamborghini on the Countach, the P140 and the Diablo. The company's first model, the Zonda, was powered by a Mercedes AMG V12. Its latest model, the Huayra, was presented in 2011 as the long-awaited successor to the Zonda.
