Coming from the last year of production this 190SL was delivered new in the USA before being shipped from Pensacola, Florida to its first UK owner in London in 1993. At the time of the UK registration in 1995 the milage was showing as 28,935. It is currently showing as 30,752. Photos in the history file show a previous body restoration while more recently the car has had much work totalling nearly £10,000 in 2022 which included work to the front suspension, fuel system, carb overhaul and full service. It was also fitted with a new black mohair soft top and the original solex carbs have been replaced with twin Webbers.
In good running order the body appears solid but up close the paint has imperfections while the interior is largely original and a bit scruffy but at the current asking price there is plenty of room for improvement.
It is supplied with a factory hard top and a spare set of wheels with brand new unused tyres as well as two workshop manuals. A good usable example at a very competitive price it has a small history file that contains some old MoT’s, a few invoices and previous owners correspondence.
