Beschreibung
The Aston Martin DB7 is a sports car manufactured by Aston Martin between mid-1994 and 2004. With its (originally installed) 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine, it was the first Aston Martin in 20 years not to be powered by a V8 engine. The DB7 also revived Aston Martin's traditional DB model designation, which goes back to the initials of David Brown, the long-time owner of the brand. The coupé was formally presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in spring 1993 but was not roadworthy due to the lack of an engine and transmission. In March 1999, a facelift including a new 5.9-litre V12 engine for the DB7 was presented in Geneva and named the DB7 Vantage. Externally, these vehicles are easily recognizable by their large, round fog lights. From the beginning of 2000, the DB7 was only available as the DB7 Vantage, again as a coupé and convertible, with this engine and a slightly modified body. This coupé with automatic transmission was sold by Aston Martin London on 21 August 2002 to a Frenchman living there and registered in England. At the end of 2006, the DB7 was taken over from its first owner by the consignor, imported into Switzerland and finally registered here. The complete service booklet and the maintenance invoices available since 2010 testify to the careful treatment of this elegant coupé. In ‘Solway Grey’ with grey leather upholstery and 46’700 kilometers on the clock, the Aston Martin is in good and well-maintained original condition. The 420 hp V12 runs flawlessly, the gearbox shifts well and the bodywork, like the interior, is beautiful. Only the left side of the driver's seat shows the usual signs of wear. The last MOT was completed in February 2021, and the last service was carried out by Aston Martin Ticino in July 2025.
