Beschreibung

The song goes "I'm just Jenny from the block" - and what a look she must have cut on that block when crusing around downtown L.A. in her brand new Dunhill Edition Aston Martin DB7 Volante! The rumour is that Ben Affleck bought this car as a gift for Ms. Lopez and registered it immediately in her name. Her car was also prominently used in the music video for "Love don't cost a thing". Pay special attention here to second 50 to 1 min 50s in the video below:

Given the car has a covered fewer than 15.500 miles from new, it's apparent that it is in a very good condition. The Alfred Dunhill Limited Edition run of DB7 Coupés and Volante's were intended to run for 150 models from the production line in both left and righthand drive guise. According to some sources however, the final number of 150 were never actually achieved making this Limited Edition run even more Limited. Only about 80 Dunhill cars had been completed - in both coupé and volante convertible versions. This car is significant, because not only does it come from the home of pop-star royalty, it is also numbered just #002 of the intended 150 production. Aston Martin themselves retained #001 for their own collection, so it would be impossible to buy an earlier car.

Offered to the market now, is a low-mileage, celebrity-blessed, DB7 Volante in lefthand drive guise with automatic gearbox and in all-round fine order. Whilst it may not be necessary to say any more, I'd like to highlight that the Alfred Dunhill editions to these cars varied by carrying the name of the luxury goods brand on the instrument cluster, as well as on the seat-backs, the bespoke dash-mounted clock and of course and the numbering of the car on the sill plates, visible upon entrance and exit to and from the car. These cars also sport a special order Dunhill Silver Paint finish with black hide interior piped pale grey with Black Wilton carpet and additional overmats with Dunhill insignia. Also, the rims and hubcaps were built specifically only for Dunhill. No other DB7 has these rims. They have been painted in a special gray metallic color, which contrasts with the silver paint of the body.
The car is fitted with:
mesh grills, air conditioning, alloy pedals, heated front and rear screens, heated electric seats, adjustable steering column, electric colour coded mirrors and pale grey Alcantara head lining. It sits on 18'' multi-spoke alloys finished in gunmetal grey with its original Aston Martin centre caps.
Originally, a Californian car, it is accompanied by leather-bound Aston Martin Alfred Dunhill DB7 Owner's Guide and currently registered in the EU in Germany.
