The first Moto Guzzi models had 4-stroke engines with opposing valve timing with an ingenious system that provided for a side intake valve and an exhaust valve at the head. The frame was made of steel tubes with the front suspension equipped with a parallelogram fork with central spring and at the rear two “compass” shock absorber units with Moto Guzzi-patented elastic clutches and drum brakes. The GTS model is a timeless classic of the Moto Guzzi style famous throughout the world. Restored and presumably never used since. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
