Unique rare Bimota HB1 Honda 910 1973

Here is a brief history of the Bimota HB1, the Bimota factory started their business by building a prototype HB1 in 1972, the engine went around at many motor shows in Europe where it got a lot of success because of the beautiful chassis and styling, they were commissioned to build 10 chassis kits for the Honda 750 engine, the chassis was built in 1973 and they were sent to a company in Modena called Reggiani, the customers could order them with different suspensions, wheels and brakes.

This HB1 has the Fontana brakes, Ceriani front forks, Marzocchi rear shocks, Veglia/Borletti tachometer, and Campagnolo wheels, the absolute best.

The 1st owner was a 50 year old man, Mr. Varisto, who owned a fashion store in Rimini, he rarely used it because he had many engines and almost never had time.
In 1984 this motorcycle was sold and exhibited in a motorcycle museum called Il Velocifero, located in Rimini.
In 2007 the museum was dismantled and HB1 was sold to Enrico Bertone a motorcycle collector from Turin.
After that, this HB1 came into my collection through an acquaintance.

Unieke zeldzame Bimota HB1 Honda 910 1973

Hier volgt een korte geschiedenis van de Bimota HB1 , de Bimota fabriek begon hun bedrijf door in 1972 een HB1 als prototype te bouwen , de motor ging rond op vele motorshows in Europa waar hij veel succes kreeg vanwege het prachtige chassis en de styling, ze kregen de opdracht om 10 chassis-kits te bouwen voor de Honda 750-motor, het chassis werd gebouwd in 1973 en ze werden verzonden naar een bedrijf in Modena genaamd Reggiani, de klanten konden ze bestellen met verschillende ophangingen, wielen en remmen.
Deze HB1 heeft de Fontana-remmen, Ceriani voorvork, Marzocchi schokdempers achter, Veglia/Borletti toerenteller, en Campagnolo-wielen, absoluut de beste.

De 1e eigenaar was een 50-jarige man, de heer Varisto, die een modewinkel in Rimini bezat, hij gebruikte hem zelden omdat hij veel motoren had en bijna nooit tijd.
In 1984 werd deze motor verkocht en tentoongesteld in een motormuseum genaamd Il Velocifero, gevestigd in Rimini.
In 2007 werd het museum ontmanteld en werd HB1 verkocht aan Enrico Bertone een motorverzamelaar uit Turijn.
Daarna is deze HB1 via een kennis in mijn verzameling gekomen.

Deze motor komt uit een privé verzameling.
